Family Date Nights

Blackberry picking:

Earlier this month we kept seeing people on the side of the road picking berries so one night we went for a family walk to see if we could find some ourselves.  We hit a jackpot area and got lots of yummy berries that quickly turned into a cobbler and then even more quickly disappeared.

Bowling:

One Friday night this month after an afternoon of running errands we decided to have some fun and hit up the local bowling alley.  We almost turned around because it looked so sketchy from the outside but we all survived. My bowling skills are fair on my best days so it was no surprise that Brett beat me.  At least I had Brooke to cheer me on each time I turned around. I also managed to forget that I would need socks.  Aren't the ones I bought from the bowling alley so fashionable!

Mother's Day dinner out

The day before mother's day we celebrated by going out for some yummy Mexican food at a place called Pappasito's.  I took Brett there for his birthday last year but was unable to enjoy the deliciousness thanks to intense pregnancy nausea. This time around Brett and I shared fajitas and Brooke enjoyed her pureed carrots and squash. Poor girl missed out on the good stuff!
