Easter Festivities

Brooke is at the age where she is just starting to understand holidays.  Some of our Easter themed activities were a success, others...not so much. 

The librarian that does story time at the library decided to dress up like a bunny.  Brooke was terrified.  She hid in the corner and only came out briefly for parachute time.

We had another encounter with the Easter bunny, and it went a little more smoothly.  My friend and I took our kids downtown for a big Easter egg hunt.  Brooke learned all about picking up the eggs, but lacked the competitive force that was necessary with so many other kids. But we enjoyed the little adventure and playing on the playground afterwards.

We also did a little Easter egg hunt at our house just for Brooke. She LOVED it. The video at the end is kind of long, but worth it for her reaction when she gets outside.  We sure love watching Brooke experience new things!
