I've said it before and I'll say it again: having a kid makes even the simplest experiences new again. My parents live by a community duck pond and so we took a few walks to feed the ducks. At first Brooke was unsure what to think about these strange creatures but she warmed up and was pointing and laughing at them by the end of the trip. The ducks/geese are not shy and had no qualms about coming right up to get the food.
