The resort was as beautiful as it was relaxing. We were in Cancun for a whole week, but we didn't spend too much time at the resort. However, the days we did stick around were well spent!
There were two LARGE pools that we enjoyed sitting by ALL day. We started in the morning at the pool aimed for the younger crowd. We played an intense game of water volleyball and enjoyed laying in the sun.
There was even a swim-up bar that we had to try out. Brett swam over to get us some drinks.
As the day went on we made our way over to the other pool which had a more relaxing feel.
At this pool we laid around some more. Tough day, yes I know.
We ended the day watching the sun set over another part of the pool.
It was definitely a day well spent!
Besides unlimited access to the seemingly unlimited pools, we also had direct access to the ocean.
I enjoyed the time looking over the beautiful water an relaxing in the many lounge chairs.
Brett practiced his rock throwing skills trying to hit some of the large rocks out in the ocean. The water was too rough to swim in, but we did wade out a little bit, just so we could say that we did.
I'm glad we got to spend time relaxing and enjoying the beauty and peace at the resort. And I'm especially glad I got to enjoy it with Brett!
