Baker Christmas 2013

We did a few Christmas activities while in Baker too!

There is a house in town that goes ALL OUT with christmas lights every year.  They have a yard full of wooden cutout characters that you can walk through.  The couple that lives at the house makes them and adds new ones each year.  The kiddos were entranced and it was actually pretty impressive for us adults too! Brooke loved it so much the first time we took her back again!

These pictures are from the second trip. I love the first one because it captures perfect what Brooke does when she is excited. She "Ohhhs" and then forcefully moves your face to look at her/or the item of excitement. The second one is her sad that we had to leave. Or maybe she was sad because it was FREEZING outside and she was cold... you pick.  haha.

Christmas Eve pictures! Snapped a few cute one of the kiddos and the tree.

Sledding. It snowed before we arrived, and then got pretty cold. So the snow was more like patchy ice but it didn't stop us from tearing up the hill with the sleds!

And of course, Christmas morning! I didn't get too many pictures but everyone was spoiled and great gifts were given. In typical 1-year old fashion, Brooke was most interested in the wrapping paper, boxes and anything Tanner opened (including his train table and pop gun).

And that, my friends, wraps up December! We celebrated New years in Baker before heading home and moving into our new house!  Stay tuned for those pictures! I, for one, LOVE it here!
