Monday's Memories: Passion

I'm grateful today for friends.  Good friends.  The ones you can be yourself around and catch up with even if it has been weeks/months/years.  We got to babysit for our buddy Creedence last week, and although I didn't really get to chat much with Maria, it was fun to maintain that connection.  I also got to go out to dinner tonight with Chelsea and baby Claire, who are visiting from Arizona. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I was so blessed to have such awesome roommates during college!  And because a blog isn't a blog without pictures, here is a blast from the past picture.  It was our first "roommate family picture" circa September 2005 (a special thanks to Elise via facebook for providing the picture)

In other news, today's installment of Monday's memories comes from a blog post entitled On Top of the World. It isn't much, but its a good reminder.

Be passionate about something, feel that passion and follow that passion!

That really sums up what I was trying to do with my education.  But now that I'm working, I sometimes forget to feel the passion.  I need to remember not to let work get in the way of enjoying what I do.
